Our Mission & Vision
The Parish Church glorifies God by creating common space for saints to worship Jesus, mature in faith, serve one another, and go to neighbor and nation with the gospel until only love remains.
Our vision is to focus on Jesus, our Savior, that we might delight in him in all things. We desire to live before the face of God in all facets of life. Our church will strive to create a close-knit Christian community that emphasizes love for the saints, neighbors, and nations.
Each member will:
- Abide in Christ through private and public worship.
- Mature in faith through study and fellowship.
- Minister by employing their gifts in the body.
- Proclaim by engaging in local and global missions.

Our Community
The Parish Church is built on the reality of the church body. The church isn’t a building, it’s a people. The body gathers for worship, fellowship, and ministry. We delight in making common spaces in which to demonstrate truth, beauty, and goodness in the world. The rhythms of our days are encouraged to be built around worship and community. It should not be unusual to spend time together outside of church gatherings. In fact, the body assembled for worship is just one of the ways we demonstrate the goodness of fellowship. Time in each other’s homes, with each other’s families, and invested in each other’s lives is the model of the Christian life.

Leadership
The Parish Church believes in a plurality of pastoral leadership. Elders will be appointed from the church body.
Adam Bishop – Church Planter
Adam married Marie in 1999. They have three sons and a daughter-in-law who all know and walk with Jesus. Adam has served as a pastor for churches in Alabama, Kentucky, and Georgia. He loves great books and movies, a good fire pit on a chilly night, playing music with his family, and hanging with friends.
He would love to meet you. Use the link below to reach out if you’d like to learn more about joining the Planting Team of The Parish Church, want to talk about spiritual things, or just hang out and shoot the breeze.
